Pheonix boot rubber would not allow the boot lid to close on my car, I had to use a good used one, the solid rubber part was far to thick when compared with the original type and of course will not compress enough. Their door rubbers work!

I used the trim from Phoenix on Doors and Windows on my restoration .
They worked perfectly, even with the piano hinge Windows. Exelent quality..

However i used an original on my bootlid..

I've cheated on the boot seal and used a stick on one yet to put the lid back on though

I'm the same . I've used all there rubbers except for the boot lid , so it would seem that's all they need to get right now .... Ken

I tried to use a Genuine NOS boot seal fresh out the bag on my restoration and still had trouble to close the boot , so in the end i had to find a good secondhand one and now shuts great .

Used a new one from minispares today. Bit of a fiddle to fit, however the boot lid closed well with a firm shove. Should bed in nicely. Much better than what I had before.

The rubber seems carefully designed asymettricaly made, unlike the previous pattern. Quite impressed with it.
