Either that or you can pull the unit and leave them in place?
hi doc,
the pin comes out from the hydro unit. i guesss its meant to fall out or is it meant to be fixed in tightly to the hydro unit?the pin of the other hydro unit seems to be intact well strong.
thanks

They slide in and out as a close fit, however they seem to corrode in place. I have several that are serviceable with the pin in. I'd leave it be.

If you look in the other unit you'll see there is nothing to find when its removed. Minimail sells them for a couple of quid from memory if you want to drill it out.

Its held in place by the weight of the car once its on its wheels.

My '65 S was converted in the '70s and when we rebuilt the brakes the standard rear brake hose was wrong-too short. Got special hoses made for this conversion from 7 Enterprises here in the states. They don't seem to list it, but they knew exactly what the problem was and provided the hose. This allowed the use of the original swing arms which I was reluctant to replace in case I ever restore the wet system.

I've had this issue with a new set of goodyear hoses, apparently the wet routing isn't the same as the dry routing. Pictures to follow once I've replumbed it.
