We do have a few Inno owners here, but particularly in the UK all Inno's are rare beasts.

The inno 1001 engine has a 12g 295 head.
Just remove the rocker cover and look what numer is casted into the head.
In moste cases the head has double valve springs.

ok, for now i just chage the oil (castrol for old cars) and change the lead and distributor cap.
as it was made in the ex yugoslavia (in the factory today all the twingo are made)
the serial numbers and tags are all changed with local numbers with no meaning
I knew about the head and the rocker but waiting for a complete new gasket set before open anything
i suppose the inno engine beacouse I have the wooden counter, the engine bottom end had an innocenti guard and i have an plastic innocenti steering colum guard )with the space for the contact key) but i have the key on the central console )and i found an MINI 1001 badge in the rear
but the chassis is the IMV Novo Mesto one)serial nuumber with a star on the end

the interesting fact is that on the place the serial number of the engine there is an number code in exactly 353EH20523-no no mention about the engine displacement, but is a smal bore engine refeering to the heater controll on the right end of the engine.
on the documentsis an 998, a bit rusty was paited in red and the rocker cover is black
why i am writeing that, beacouse have no idea what it is....if anybody have....
then the guy before me installed disk brakes on the front but the big ones and was so damm stupid to mout rover minilite kind od wheels vith normal nuts...so racing a bit aroud I just lost the rear left wheel
but he gave me also a set of iron 12 inch wheels. They just wait to be paited in white
i have now mouted just the normal HS2 carb with the intake outake maifold (suppose that is very closed type) but already have at home the double hs2 (with heatsheald and maifold) and ordered anLCB stage 2 exaust mainfold and central rc40 exhaust
have to change also the carb needles and gy for now will be correct
(i ordered the big yellow book do not worry)
also i will get an smiths 0-10 000 rpm couter and other little suffs for manteniance...and for now in I think enough
and all the stufs like paddy hopkirk accelerator pedall and bmc rosetes;)
thanks for any suggestions
