63 engine colour

Post by Adnams4ever »

Hi All,
I appreciate that this question May have been asked by others several times now, but what was the green colour called that was used on engines in the 63 period?
Further to that does anyone have a paint code or even a paint formula for the colour? Specifically in the PPG or ICI/Nexa Autocolor brand?

Kind regards,
Chris.

I think it's British Standard 223, mid bronze green. Unless someone would like to correct me?
