22G333 cooper s box from a 3 syncro to a 4 syncro
hi all , I have a broken 1st gear in my s box, but as I have it apart can you convert the box to fit a 4 synchro gear kit using a kit from a 22A1128 OR 22G1128 box ? many thanks jabez

You can't convert a 3 Syncho Box to a 4 Syncho Box, well, at least using factory parts. The cases were quite different.

Unfortunately that's what I hear too and what a shame - my Cooper S won't be tuned, but non-synchro 1st is the most irritating thing on these cars..
