Hi, can you fit an A series std 1275 crank into a cooper s block? If so what mods are needed? Many thanks

I think the mains are the same. A problem could be that you'd have a 970/1071 "short" block, when you require a 1275 Tall Block. Personally, I'd sell the S block to some clown on the internet for 100s of pounds and then get an S crank and put it in a non-S block. Thus having all the benefits of an S engine bombproof bottom end. The blocks are much of a muchness.

You have to grind down +30 thrust to fit .

The normally end up about 0.010" to 0.015" oversize depending if the crank has been re-ground
