1960 Mini Heater knob removal

How do I get the knob off chaps ?, it's not the best, and I don't want to break anything !

There is a a little button/hole you press in on the other side of the knob ( may be seized) then the knob just pulls off

Take care, I had exactly the same problem and mine broke as I removed it.
There are reproductions available but they don't look quite the same.
Sleep is my favourite thing in the world. It's what gets me out of bed in the morning.

Plenty of WD40 type and leave it for a day or two before carefully pressing the pin in. I put a thick rag under the knob to support it and tapped the button with a punch. Done two lately and both came off easily.
