Post by rolesyboy »

Hi All. Can anybody identify this inlet manifold. I have been told it is made fpr Alexander and SU carbs. I have never even seen a pair of mythical Alexanders so could do with some help. Thanks in advance. Mark

My guess is a Conversion & Tuning (C&T)

More info on Marks site...

http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.u ... tuning.htm

You can see the manifold on page 6 of the download PDF, they usually have the C&T logo cast on the top on one of the ends of the manifold.

Not sure on value 30quid? Maybe more as it looks like it will take SU-H2/4 and either SU- HS4s or Strombergs

I agree with Andy, CT. I picked one up a couple of years ago at a show and paid £20. I’m sure it would cost more on ebay with a decent listing/write up. Mine has really small balance holes cast in about 10mm dia. and the CT logo as well as “London” cast onto it. Commando has one fitted his mk1 with 1 ½” SU’s I think.

Its defiantly a C&T for H4's or HS4's.
