Fantastic news, might have to keep hold of the Mini for a bit longer!

As said before - I hope to be there with either the rally Mk1-a-like or the Cooper S Traveller, but only in a park up and spectate capacity.
However - if the track action looks way to much fun for me to resist will I be able to book track time on the day or must it be prebooked?

As there are a limited number of track places to be had & last year these were oversubscribed by quite a degree, I suspect that it is unlikely that there will be places to be had on the day.
However, If there are spaces to be had these will of course be available for late comers on the day.
We will of course be happy see you in either capacity.

Thanks Mark. As I'll be driving there in the Mini it'd only be my luck that I'd wrap it around a tyre wall or something. I want to be able to drive it home again Looking forward to it.mk1 wrote:As there are a limited number of track places to be had & last year these were oversubscribed by quite a degree, I suspect that it is unlikely that there will be places to be had on the day.

The beauty of this track is that there's precious little to hit, loads of run off on the corners. People drove at their own pace last time, it's not a race and you're free to push as hard (or not) as you feel happy to. There were VERY few spinners last time , just the odd oil slick!minitravellerman wrote: As I'll be driving there in the Mini it'd only be my luck that I'd wrap it around a tyre wall or something. I think that you would have to be trying very very hard to hit anything (that wasn't another car), the huuuggggeeee spin I had (flat in fourth) just turned me around on the tarmac a couple of times and shed the speed off.
I thrashed the tits of my gtm all day, and never had any worrys about any of the scenery at all

I agree the chances of anything happening are microscopic. But if I had to drive home to Ireland, I'd consider it a reasonable concern too.

Exactly. Although if Neil (Redmist) is part of the Irish contingent heading over I may have to liberate his trailer for the run homemk1 wrote:I agree the chances of anything happening are microscopic. But if I had to drive home to Ireland, I'd consider it a reasonable concern too.

That's great news
This was such a great event last year (best event I've been to in years actually) I'll definitely be there again.
In my experience the mini specials that attended last year were invited with open arms, which isn't the norm at other shows I have been too.
Can we a have 'Maximum Mini Club' area again

Hi guys, will there be a special word needed to book this again? Had a brilliant day last year. Can't wait.
