Can someone post up a photo of the bracket where the heater hoses pass through into the interior (and also has the fuel hose coming up through it from the rear of car). The car is a 64 Dry 'S'.
The bracket I have fitted doesn't seem quite right as the RH carb bowl is very close to touching the bracket.
Thanks

Not a lot of room in that area, this one is on H4's.

Thanks Bob. That actually looks like my set up. The carb bowl is just about touching the bracket though and with engine movement I wondered if it would be an issue.
Should there not be grommets where the heater hoses pass through the bracket? On mine it would be impossible to fit them as (like your photo) there is only just room to squeeze the pipes through.
Thanks

1071bob,
Amazingly spotless.... mmm!
Is that bracket the same as the engine tie-bar bracket
that is for the "tap" end of the engine?
... obviously with a bigger hole in it!

It's the late Steve Smiths car, which is now is part of the Beaulieu collection I think.

Yep, the dry spec cars used the same bulkhead plate on both sides, with the hole opened up to 5/8"
diameter to take the fuel pipe grommet. I think I've posted this up before, may have been on the old MCR forum.

Bob, you are awesome. Thats perfect!
So, should there be no grommets ? Was that a 850 thing? I cant see a way to fit them. My hoses are a very tight fit so think i'm happy.
Cheers

No grommets, just a thin sheet of rubber sandwiched between the melal plates with two small holes in it.
