Here's one example;-

Engines normally tend to pink in the midrange generally in the area where most
torque is being produced, and this will be happening if you have your foot down....

Bollocks
Surely a different term could have been used and / or phrased better.

Nearly all your posts are of a similar nature.

I don't mind in the slightest differing views and ideas, in fact, it is in part what makes these forums rich, however your posts nearly always come across as a personal attack.

Maybe forums aren't for you.

   honestly this is it the best you can do, I would politely suggest if that upsets you maybe forums aren't for you. I tend to treat the forums like I'm talking to mates in the street, if whilst in a conversation with a mate and he made a incorrect statement would you say ? 'Pardon me but I think you could be incorrect in that statement you just made. Or would you say bollocks/rubbish/your talking out your arse ? Especially if there statement could cost others money.

Obviously my mistake and really some people are more bothered about there perseived image than just getting along. I treat everyone the same, I wouldn't be offended/upset if someone says the same to me. In fact I'd ask them why they thought that and would be more than happy to discuss there opinion and views one of us might even learn something from such a discussion. Thats what forums are really about and a bit of banter makes them a much better place.

This thread is going no where.

EVERYONE needs to maintain some sort of RESTRAINT when posting on any forum, it is very difficult for people at the other end of the earth from each other to interpret exact meanings unless these are made absolutely clear.

Smithy, I agree that some of your posts can be interpreted as snappy, despite the fact that I am sure they aren't.

All I ask is that ALL members treat each other with respect & avoid silly circular arguments / discussions.

That way we can keep everything civil, friendly & helpful.

Thanks,
