Inline Fuse value

Can someone tell me the value of the inline fuse on mk2 onwards as my manual is only up to 67 MK 1 , I bought a new MK 2. loom from Auto Sparks for my Jem project but no fuse fitted

The only figure I can find is 15 amp if it's for the in line fuse situated on the engine side of the bulkhead.

yes that's the one up against the bulkhead.

Hi,

There are two amp ratings for the bulkhead inline fuse, depending on the car year:

pre 76 cars use a 35 amp inline fuse on the light switch ( Red/Green reg wires ) ,
post 76 cars use a 15 amp inline fuse for interior light and hazards ( not sure about the wires colors , brown and purple maybe )

If you want i can check my car later and confirm you the wire colors for the 15 amp fuse . ( 79 mini 1000 ).

Yes its the rear lights so i guess its the 35 amp rating
