I am just about to spray my ignition switch panel and cumulus grey is also stated in the John Parnell Mini Cooper book, but I have a friend who swears it should be a cream colour on early non cooper mk1s.

The front of my switch panel had been painted black at some stage, but the back of it is still original paint and is indeed cream.

Can anyone out there chip in please?

Cheers
Martin

Non Coopers/Supers/Super de Lux were indeed cream as far as I know on early Mk1s. The back of your switch panel will be right.
