IPC Media has confirmed that it has sold specialist titles MiniWorld, Ships Monthly, Park Home & Holiday Caravan, and Aeroplane to Kent-based Kelsey Publishing.
The deal sees Kelsey take control of the brands – currently published within the IPC Inspire portfolio – as of today. Kelsey also acquired the IPC title Cage & Aviary Birds last week.
There will be no interruption to the publishing schedule of the titles and staff will transfer with immediate effect.
IPC Inspire managing director Paul Williams said: "Aeroplane, MiniWorld, Ships Monthly and Park Home are all excellent examples of focused and successful specialist brands, delivering to their passionate readers every issue."
Kelsey managing director Steve Wright added: "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to purchase these magazines. They, along with Cage & Aviary Birds, are all strong brands, and will fit very well into our business."
IPC is currently finalising a deal to sell magazines World Soccer, Racecar Engineering and Classic Boat to Chelsea Magazines following weeks of negotiations.
Last week it sold monthly music magazine Guitar & Bass to Anthem Publishing and on Monday completed the sale of its internet title Web User to Dennis Publishing.

Re: Mini World/Kelsey Publishing
I wonder if you can get a discount deal on Miniworld and Cage and Aviary Birds?
I didn't realise it was such a niche market
