Dyno testing 1293.

Just came home from dyno testing, and I think I'm having difficulties with my engine.

Can someone explain why there is a spray of fuel OUT of the SUs?

The power from the engine is no where near what you Brits are quoting, so I'm starting to think that we've done something completely wrong, either that or the air drenched of fish n' chips and ale, really helps power

or, you have discovered the swiftune secret weapon for solving fuel starvation on long corners - simply have a reserve of petrol floating around the engine bay



even the 1430 out of my 'ole stinky' didn't spew as much petrol (or oil) out the carbs as your race motor verg, and that engine was well shagged

also check float heights and valve springs.?

You will always get some spray back through the carbs don't forget! it's just a function of the overlap in cam timing the more overlap the more spray. Having said that I've not seen one as prolific as yours!!
