Engine stand bracket

Post by rolesyboy »

Has anybody got a design for an adapter plate for a Sealey engine stand to suit an A Series. I would like to have one made up as a permanent fixture as i am only likely to rebuild Mini engines. Thanks in advance. Mark

I recently bought a Sealey stand a then purchased a adaptor from Jon Betts who contributes in Mini Mag in the staff car pages .
He fabricates all sorts of bits . Google search Jb fabrication facebook , it wil come up at top of list.

The adaptor is well made and does the job btw.

Some of the blocks that I have seen have a threaded
hole right in the middle at the back of the block, 7/16" UNF...

Could this be what it was for
