LHD dipswitch position
Just pondering things with my Dad, his mate & Robin Gray (Mainly Minis, Edinburgh) the other day, and between us, with over 100 years experience on minis we couldn't come up with a definitive answer
Can anyone show a pic of a Mk1 with floor mounted dipswitch in LHD?
I think I found a very small photo showing it sort of below the clutch pedal?
Cheers

Vegard, thanks, but not a great photo of it - is it up to the left of the clutch pedal?

Jamie, you're right.
I have a photo in the 'Hubner' book which just shows the switch between the clutch pedal and the wheel arch. must be awkward to press!
and if there were 4 of you, you and the other guy can only have had a few days experience each - Robin must have over 100 years himself, and your dad........

I converted a 59 to lhd a few years back and the mounting point was already ther in the n/s footwell close to the inner arch
Re: LHD dipswitch position
Thankyou Bob, I was under my RHD car and thought it must have had something fitted there once but I couldn't think what. The holes are filled with sheet metal screws, probably done at the factory. Thankyou for clearing the mystery.
How was the dip switch position for comfort on LHD? It looks as if it may have been awkward.

The position of the early dip switch was awkward especially when you have size 11 hooves
