C pillar trim fitting

Post by skeebs »

Just wondered if it was possible to fit the c pillar trim piece behind the windscreen rubber without taking the rear glass out. The rubber is obviously a tight fit but wondered if anyone has sucessfully done this before I attempted it or is it definitely a rear screen out job?
Thanks in advance of any advice recieved :)

It can be done with the screen in mate. just depends how much you want it to wrap around the screen surround. If you do want to 'do it proper' and take the screen out bring it round to mine, we'll have it done in half an hour. :D

Thanks for the offer Pete, it's very much appreciated.
I'll have to find the trim first and get the old girl back on the road - I'll probably give it a go myself but if I get into any trouble I'll give you a shout.
Hope the rest of the weekend went well for you at Event City, it certainly is an excellent show with a good turnout of Minis as well.
I will give you a call tomorrow to arrange pick up of the exhaust - cheers
