Really good idea, have to try it. Can I suggest caravan window cleaner as well? Designed for clear perspex, or whatever the window is made from so it can't be that aggressive.

I've had good results with Brasso to polish-up dull paint work and lenses try it on a small area first, wax over to seal when finished.

Using Brasso has been around for years but I usually start with wet and dry sandpaper(400, then 600 and finer if necessary), then rubbing compound and finish with Brasso.

Al Brass (often known as Brasso !!)
