Blast from the Past

Came upon this and thought I'd share!

It's a photo that was probably taken in the mid/late 60s when road racing was all the rage in Dunboyne, Co Meath, Ireland.

The driver is a gentleman by the name of Mike Dennehy who raced this Mk1 Cooper S back in the 60s and still has it to this day! He uses the car any chance he can get and always has great stories to share, including taking a trip through the back window of the Mini as a result of a heavy crash!

one should always wear a collar and tie when racings ones mini dont you know!
