1963 S gearstick.

Hi,
Anyone able to supply a photo or describe what a gearstick for 1963 S should be like, is it painted black and straight or shaped?. I have attached a photo is this the correct one ? :D

it was before someone bent it. should be straight but with a slight bent at about 1" up from the ball

Early S gear stick is on the left

someone has either very short arms, or very long legs! :lol:

Many thanks for the replys, does anyone know where I can purchase the round rubber cover for base of this gearstick? :D

That should be my early S gearstick is on the left :P

The round boots for these were available from Sommerford Mini, I don't know if they still do them

Somerford used to do the round boot, give them a ring.

It was a very popular mod when I was a lad, seat full back and cranked gear shift - worth 10 mph, at least!
