ST Quick Jack Brkt Fitting

Help needed!
Anyone have exact position of where to fit the Works ST quick jack brackets - pair?
Both front and rear brackets?

There seemed to be no hard & fast rule on that, if you look at photos of different works cars the positions differed at times, quite dramatically. I have fitted a few of these & the critical end is the front, as you need to avoid the boxed stiffener for the front subframe / front panel mount, but be close enough to it to gain rigidity from it. The brackets I have used are 6 inches across & I leave a gap of 10.5 inches between the inner legs of the brackets. This puts the outer legs close to the front panel stiffener & they look right when compared to most works cars. If your brackets are more or less than 6 inches add or subtract the total difference to or from the initial 10.5 inch gap. I then fit the rear ones to the same measurement, but bolting up behind the spare wheel well is a bit like fitting engine mounting bolts! Mine look about like those shown below. The main thing is to measure everything carefully before drilling to make sure you can access the back of the panel, particularly at the front.

I am a little studpid, does it mean the dist nce between the 2 brackets to be 10.5 inches?
the inner legs means the edge of bracket? not center to center of brackets apart?
Cause from some the works photos it looks like only one bracket's width apart, say 6 inches apart.
Or little more than 6 inch.
I will check the back of panel to make sure a nut can be hold with no trouble!

I did mean from the inner edge of each bracket, but I'm sure the photos provided by GE9001 give a good idea of the fitment, for authenticity, probably 9-10 inches apart would be better, I spaced mine as wide as possible for stability when on the jack, but you are quite correct in saying that some brackets look much closer together, not a very good photo, but some are shown below, which are really close.

More importantly, has anyone got any drawings of the jack? I know I could do this myself and it would need to be matched to the height of the car, but it would still be interesting to see an original one.

That is excellent xv124, I've been looking for the definitive measurements for ages, (I wasn't too far out!) one wonders why they varied so much on the works cars, Vegard, I only have one close up photo of a quick lift jack, there were different designs used by the works team, at present I only use my brackets as a suitable place for axle stands , but I am proposing to construct a suitable quick lift jack as soon as I can obtain the materials & when time permits.
