1071 compression ratio?
hello if you used the flat top pistons through the special tuning section on your rebuild what would your compression ratio be with a std 163 head? my 1071 was rebuilt in the late 70's here in California and has flat top pistons. It's never been fired as the fellow never finished the build to reinstall it in the car. thanks

Re: 1071 compression ratio?
Stock they were 9.0:1 (according to the factory workshop manual) and the pistons had a 8.4 cc dish. Fitting flat tops would therefore bring to CR up to 11.6:1.
