Can someone tell me what a early 1964 1071 heater should be? Parnells book is a little vague on the subject.
Should it be the common type with ears like most mk1 coopers?
Thanks

I would say for early 1964 it should be the standard MK1 heater with the ears.

I had an early '64 dry suspension car with that type of heater fitted from new.
Who else saw a NEW one on ebay recently at £500
and the auction hadn't even ended at that stage......
AND the "ears" were missing
