rallycross 16v in 1985

Post by pad4 »

was watching this earlier today and wondering what would he have been running in the car as a 16 v in 1985

So i called him - oh well it was just a lump of ally with hillman imp valves and a pair of cams bolted on top , drew it up on a fag packet in a pub with a guy from birmingham - loads of power , loads of boiling water, leaked oil like a sieve and nearly bust me ...

dont you just love that attitude - fantastic

Is it different from the Trevor Reeves one then? Motospeed or something?

That got me thinking about this

I used to go and watch at Wimbledon and maybe I was there? My uncles raced speedworth f1 stockcars. George polly was a hero as a kid just because he was so fast... Thinking now it must piss drives off to get past on the out side... But the grip is where ever you find it..
