Yesterday 16-08-2012 a 1964 mini achieved 156 mph at Bonneville. That's flying.

At Fb you can find them as "project '64"

That is a really cool site. Well done, and congratulations!

I notice also that the car is not de-seamed. Conventional "wisdom" implies deseaming reduces frontal area and turbulence. Apparently the car could do very well without. :)
