How much is it worth??
Hi all, I have to sell my 1968 Mk2 Austin Cooper. My problem is I do not know how much to ask for it. I have it for sale on Car&Classic under Mini 1960 era ref C300699. I have asked 7995GBP but have had a poor response, so I am thinking is it to much? It is LHD so a probable European buyer, although its not too big a job to convert it back. I also think these free adverts are inclined to ask silly money as there is no risk, ie you hav,nt paid for the ad. I am very rusty at this selling game so would value some advice please. Have a look and tell me what you think please. Many thanks Bryan.

Re: How much is it worth??
While I must say that your Cooper looks very nice indeed & I am sure it will find a good home. I can see a couple of reasons why you may not have received as much interest as you might expect.
As you say LHD is an issue & will instantly put UK bidders off.
The Metro Engine, when buying Coopers nowadays people want the cars to be as original as possible. This will also put some people off.
The sun roof. These are very rarely considered desirable in a Mini, particularly an early one.
All things considered you are currently asking pretty stiff money for a car that while a Cooper is far from original. To get more interest I suspect you may have to reduce your price a bit.
Please don't take this the wrong way, I am only trying to answer your question honestly.
