Bit odd this but I'm posting this on behalf of a mate.....
Ok, he's got a pokey 1275 S lump with split Webers and every time he goes out in it the bloody thing stalls when coming to a stop at lights/in traffic etc once warmed up and will not restart for a few minutes. It always starts fine from cold. I borrowed it once a couple of years ago and it did this on me, restarted after a five minutes.
I thought fuel, either it fouls the plugs when idling hot (is that possible ??) or more likely it's boiling the fuel once hot ?
I know ..'how long's a piece of string'.. but any suggestions welcome.

Hi Pete,
Does it need choke/throttle pumping to get it going from cold? Sounds like it could be lean when hot....maybe
Have you had your string calibrated recently.
Mike.

Im guessing it's too rich at idle.... So you are flooding when coming to a stop. A wide band would tell you this for sure. Then you need to find out why...
