Re: Mk1 steering lock
My 64 is from Sweden. I need a housing for the column but here's what it looked like when I bought the car

I assume the dash has been modified by a previous owner

That's a 59-60 spedo, car's a 64. I wonder if I should keep it, and with single or 3-clock binnacle?JC T ONE wrote:Frogeye61 wrote:My 64 is from Sweden.

OK, a close-up for good measure. There's writing on the face in both Swedish French and English. The lock is made by Neiman.

Mine is a also a Neiman, the German word "fahrt" sounds good in a English sentenceFrogeye61 wrote:OK, a close-up for good measure. There's writing on the face in both Swedish French and English. The lock is made by Neiman.
