Peter. Have been there and done that a couple of times. Both times were confused when my Mini was being admired and started chatting. Must remember to keep my mind in line and fill up with Shell E5 V Power.

I last filled up AOK (with shell v power) for Stanford hall 2023 and she’s been in storage for nearly 18 months while we moved house and made the place habitable.
I’ve just turned on the master switch the battery was still charged and she started without any problems, I topped up the tank with fresh fuel a few miles down the road and drove 70 miles home in pouring rain without missing a beat. She can sit in the garden for a few days and hopefully nature will dry her out.

Think you will find Esso isn't 0% anymore but the regs are ethanol UP TO 5% for E5.
The forerunner of the Mini .. the A35 .. lots of similarities except rear wheel drive. My engine contains a lot of Mini parts now and the bodyshell some Metro brake parts!
