Sad to hear another BMC and British Leyland Motorsport legend Bill Price has passed away.
"As many will know, Bill was the main assistant to BMC Competitions Department managers Peter Browning and Stuart Turner during the heyday of the Mini in British Motorsport from 1960 and later to Peter Browning during the late 1960s. In 1974 Bill was appointed supervisor of the BL Special Tuning workshop at Abingdon, Manager at ST in 1976 and Comps Manager until 1981. His book ‘The BMC/BL Competitions Department’ has been a definitive reference source since it was first published in 1989."
