'63 1071 S looking good if you don't look too close. Awful welding (rear valance etc.) and lots of loose ends, such as missing handbrake cable guides, front suspension pitted by rust, cheap hilo's etc. For that price I'd be expecting a somewhat more pristine example.

Good luck with that.

Add another £20,000 for a really good one.

Oh dear, the more you look, the worse it looks. I'd hazard a guess they let the work experience boy cover the dash rails and bend up the brake hard lines...

Wow! £15k is a bit steep, IMHO.

Mind you, gives me hope for mine :)

Just a heads up that ebay are now implementing the new buyer premium fee across most categories on private sellers. How wonderful.

On the subject of e-bay I recently attempted to use their guarantee scheme. Briefly they will not pay out unless the purchaser can provide evidence from the courier that the item had not been delivered. I think the seller in my case knew how to play the system without going any further. My research revealed that the courier company was an internet "ghost" site; addresses quoted did not exist. Once bitten twice shy.

Ebay is going down the toilet.

My sales have dropped significantly and as a seller, I now only get paid two days after confirmed delivery. Cash on collection has been stopped as well, leaving sellers of high value items at the mercy of buyers who are just as bad. Greed has ruined ebay alas.

Costafortune - I think it is to do with the bots - bottoms
Every response was generated by a bot. No personal interaction at all. Luckily it was not a lot of money but it hurts. Thank goodness for the very good trade sellers who serve us Mini enthusiasts well with excellent service.

ebay selling experience just before last Xmas?.. my expensive Item Sold ..ebay held the Buyers paid up money, until his collection of the item.. as ebay instructed i took a photo of the Buyers ebay collection doc showing on Buyers phone ..there was no delay in my money being available once collection was confirmed on the ebay app.. Asking has this method to get paid " on collection" now changed again under this new ebay policy?

Thanks, so presumably it is still free to list but they now charge buyers a fee …..?

https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bil ... %A34%2C000.

Seems to be a flat fee plus a percentage…..so £20 sale would be plus £1.55
