MK3 S interior
Started restoration on a MK3 S...teal blue.
The interior is a sort of yeallow-ish.
What is the proper description of that interior??? And, does anyone make replacement covers/cards etc. in that color?
Cheers

Re: MK3 S interior
I had a teal blue 1971 clubman estate. My interior was 'lime flower' (yellowish) - with matching door appature seals. The carpets were olive.
Re: MK3 S interior
My first Mini (1985-1994) was ´71 basic 850 in this colour combination.
Mats were black rubber.
Used to hate the interior and especially lime door apertures.
Now when I´m older and wiser(?) I really like this combo.
I believe it´s quite rare, haven´t seen many over the years..
I´ve never come across repro seat covers or panels in limeflower.

Same here. I had a brand new teal blue CJB437J. Gave it to wife when we got married. And the car too..... Got a set of dark navy blue trim from a GT clubman as she didn't like the limeflower. Looked a bit like the inside of a year olds crappy-nappy

Know that was a long time ago...I also know you don't like to throw stuff away...do you happen to have any of the limeflower lying around?

Sorry Dermott. Different now....., I'd never throw anything away. But you can see why she thought that it looked like the contents of a baby's nappy!

BL certainly had some strange dieas about colours and colour combinations in the 70's. Wifeys friend had a mini in a colour called 'tundra' A sort of khaki......... It looked like it was from a 1945 Bedford on the advance into wartime Germany
