There was a company a few years back making what I thought were rather nice more subtle conversions to Clubman Estates to produce a 'modern' Mini Countryman/Traveller woody. There was also an option with 13" MPi sportpack wheels where the rear arches had woodwork rear arch extensions which looked quite good!
If only the Countryman/Traveller had still been in production when BMW took Rover over, I am sure it would have been given the go ahead by BMW for an MPi upgrade and become a top seller in the Mini range for a couple of years.

A simple internet search for RIG Automotive and Rigspeed Mini shows what this company produces. To suggest it is a cut and shut is totally
uncalled for.The Countryman may not be to everyone's taste but it appears to be well built by people who know what they are doing. If it's
a 1966 car with relatively modern updates i can't see an issue. Please don't condemn something without going into more depth. I had not
heard of this company before doing a search on them. They did show a car at the NEC Classic Car Show which looked okay.

There does seem to be plenty of Clubman Estate conversions out there, a brief search throws up plenty of examples. As said who knows what it is...apart from a car waiting for someone with too much £££ and not too bothered about what they buy.

I would suggest avoiding paying anything like that price for a car made out of all sorts of bits and fitted with oversills, claiming tax exemption for what would seem to be a rather more modern motor car. However nice it looks in a photograph ;)

Weren’t MBM (Bristol Minis), turning out quite a lot of these in the early 00’s, many MPI’s went to America wearing a pre 73 reg if I remember correctly too!
