I do the same as Roger does, use a decent Jubilee clip .. in a suitable container so if there is a mishap the balls don't disappear again !!

I went the same way as Chris (Spider) and bent up a piece of metal. The plastic bag is a good tip i will try to remember if ever have to do that job again.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!
