Carb pipework question

Post by colonel mustard »

Finishing off the Innocenti but unsure what items 1&2 do / are for?
Item 1 - breather from the tappet chest?
Item 2 - not a clue

Any help appreciated
Thanks

Purple is vacuum advance pipe that goes to the distributor on most engines.
Yellow is part of the engine breathing system. Most just blank it off with a short piece of hose and a bolt clamped in the end.
Blue....don't know.

So, would the blue and yellow be run into a Y piece and into the tappet chest breather?

The blue line appears to be pointing at the end of the throttle shaft. Nothing connects to that.
