does anyone know if any more of the festival is going to be broadcast? I know the FMitW will be broadcast on YouTube.
I am intending to spend sunday sofa surfing with my girlfriend watching the Mini-races.
Obviously the braodcast should be on streaming platform I can watch from abroad. So BBC and Co. are no options.
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s
I’ll be there for my first ever visit to Brands, will have the racer in tow as I’m at Goodwood for the sprint on Saturday. Hope to see some familiar faces!
Pete - are you just visiting Brands Hatch? I spent many hours the circuit and enjoyed being driven around the circuit by the late Denny Hulme (F1 champ). Not as good as it sounds as we were in a Ford Transit 12 seater !! Have a great time.
I watched the SANWA race and then after the same interviews were played again the screen went black and i couldn't get it back so I gave up. Looks like it could be worth a trip next year though! An acquaintance of mine is involved with the FMitW race and takes a lot of Motorsport photos, maybe I can wangle some access with him.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

the broadcast 'paused' while the allcomers races were on, the live broadcast again started when the minis were back on track racing
Wanna see what I'm playing with? Youtube Channel
Caution may contain 8 Ports, Xe's and VTec's, I don't do standard!

I had the same so also presumed it wasn’t working. Was surprised Mighty minis not there this year

The quality of the broadcast could do with improving. I too had some weird pixel-traces of cars behind them. A bit too arty-farty for this kind of event imho

Unfortunately I could not attend Brands Hatch for this years Mini Festival but also presumed the live stream was not working when I went back to view after the SANWA race!
It was a shame the Mighty Minis were not there and the All Comers race had to fill the gap.
Also although I am not a great fan of the Modern MINI races of previous Mini Festival years.....as the cars on show and spectators at the event with BMW MINI's now seem to be outnumber the classic Minis by a considerable margin, they might not return to help subsidise the event in future if there are no MINI races to watch?

Thought the broadcast was fine, what do you want for free?
Yes they should include BMW Minis in the race programme as 75% of the spectators seemed to arrive in one, Classic Minis seemingly now becoming relegated to garage ornament status with very few interesting examples in attendance, the MCR stand I don’t think even featured one?
Brilliant event though, the Sanwa Troph being the icing on the cake, I’ll definitely be back!
Don't get me wrong I'm pleased to even have a broadcast, not to mention commentary which has been sorely lacking in previous live casts I've watched from the se7en racing club. But maybe a splash card to say when it would be back or anything to let me know it wasn't broken would have been nice. I first thought my television had switched off!

Same here the broadcast was initially fine for the Sanwa race but the sudden black screen on TV and laptop afterwards for a long period gave the impression something had gone wrong with the live feed, so like many I eventually gave up and switched off.
I am guessing the Mighty Mini and BMW MINI races were absent because of a clash of dates elsewhere, club level race series popular with spectators often get signed up to support several rounds of another 'premier' series which pays more money or includes mainstream TV coverage as part of the deal. Also sometimes means Mini 7 and Miglia races get shown live on a mainstream channel like ITV.
