There's nothing wrong about a properly rebuilt and tuned 998 auto.
I've rebuilt multiple and plan to do many more.
There's no dealing with the wear that a manual gets from people not actually knowing how to drive.
The best option is to rebuild the transmission that you have. Any other one you buy will likely need a rebuild very soon and will be in an unknown condition. Unlike what most people try to say, it's not that difficult to rebuild one.
Getting a virus from the auto mini forum is not a fault of the forum. It's the fault of however you tried to download a manual. Many file sharing sites are full of misleading download buttons.
