Unexpected outcomes of mini ownership - F1 today
In my 'yoof' I rallied minis and dolomite sprints and then moved on to Sierra Cosworths later in life. My son got interested in motorsport after helping me out with restorations etc., to cut to the chase, his name is on the Williams F1 car today.
So, from Restall restoration to F1 teamwork

Yeah very 'daddy proud' mate. Next step will be to get him to sort his '64 mini out and restore that

Can agree all of the comments ( especially about Grandkids achievements) .. displaying the names of "All" the F1 team members showing on a modern F1 Car this idea probably started with BAR F1 placing their team members names on each of the Rear Wing End Plates.. some years later i managed to buy one from a Dealer trading in old F1 bits .. today this BAR F1 "Rear Wing Endplate" hangs on Grandsons bedroom wall as he is also proud of his Dad who still works for the F1 evolution of that BAR Team.
Andy, perhaps you can look to buy a Williams F1 "Silverstone" Engine Cover displaying your Sons name

Wonderful to see, a great display of team spirit by Williams. You must be very proud, as must the team bringing home points with Alex and so close with Logan.
As for Polarsilver you guys must have been jumping for joy, a well deserved win on one side of the garage and bitter disappointment for the other. Not just Mini's that overheat.

Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!
