Any recommendations for a good quality car cover for my Elf?

I use these on all my cars. Great if you want to keep dust off, but no good for inclement weather etc.

Is your car in a dry garage? If so, I've got mine covered in a large half-room sized heavy duty cotton dust sheet. As used by painters and decorators. Covers the whole car. Easy to wash, easy to roll/fold up. Been using them since about 1986 as I recall and still goin' strong. Not exactly 'fitted' but draped over and does a great job. Chinese made and cheap too.........

A friend of mine has a Moggy 1000, pop up to see him the other day as it had been a while.

The Moggy had curtains on it wete the car cover previously resided...
He felt the car cover was putting swirls in the paint work...
But couldn't remember we're the cover was from.

We used something like that for donkey's years as well. Then saw some fitted ones made of a material called SuperTex and gave them a whirl. Got one for each car now, they keep the dust off very nicely and seem to breathe well as I've never had any condensation in them either. But I will add, that a bird got into the shed and promptly defecated on one of the covers, which I am unable to wash... So that's pretty disappointing, but it did stay on the outer layer of the material and didn't soak through either.
