Not wishing to 'out' anyone, but is 't3gav' the PA / public oracle of a certain bearded Guru long since believed to be extinct?

Come back, beardy one, all is not lost!

No, it isn't.

I know who t3gav is, but it's up to him to introduce himself if he wants.

The reason Rich / Guru left the forum was that people conflated him as an individual & him as the guy who worked at Minispares.

Back on topic, it would'n take a lot to drill out a nut and glue it on top for the "look".

Great to see from MS. Were these fitted to all single leading show brakes ?

I think it was this Minispares upgraded seal linked in my previous post below.
mab01uk wrote: Thu Jan 18, 2024 7:28 pm Also upgraded are radius arm/upper arm seals, imported from Japan these should be much more durable and price remains the same.

That's what I was thinking might be possible to do for our '59 Mini restoration.....maybe a new product line for the CatMint Shop?

These new Minispares Body sides look absolutely amazing!

Was speaking to Rich about them last night.

And about 1/3rd the price of any others currently available :o

Yes they look good . Haven’t fitted one yet but I am bound to soon . Just a note it’s all well and good having a whole side like this pre gapped for the door .AS long as the door skin fits the width of the door hole . To get a nice door gap and allowing for 2 pack primer and paint build up I am normally heading for a 93 cm gap horizontal to top a bottom door hinges . Common sense would say that they have fitted a heritage door skin in the gap , let’s hope so .. The price with a bit of discount is certainly better … Shirley

Yes 93cm is the correct number for the BMC side panels, early original doors fit this gap...later van doors are a tight fit for some reason

So you can use Silicone fluid in these? Thought MS warranty was void if you use dot 5
