I recently picked up a Mk1 It has four pipe exit exhaust Would anyone know what brand this is?

Looks like ANSA or MONZA
Dual end pieces fitted together to accommodate a single exhaust pipe?

Not to my taste but looks impressive. However, I reckon that this will be interpreted by many as a sign that we have a super tuned or high performance motor. When the push comes to shove does the car have the performance to match ?

Looks Italian to me, remouve it and put something decent under your Mk1
