Super rare car, one of the first Mk3 Coopers, the early ones were built with a British shell 65 bhp 998 with all Cooper S rolling gear, I like the colour.
Peter see the car in Tweedy 998 post as the kids say "my bad". The Innocenti MK3 Cooper is well known in Inni circles, I would hope the estimate is a come buy my figure, it has been rebuilt beautifully.

There is, to my knowledge, no such car as a Mk3 Cooper 998?
The car in question is just a Mini 1000 isn't it? Still rare in early Mk3 form I agree.

Hi Old English they made over 15k Cooper Mk3's at the Innocenti factory
That may be so (?) I know nothing about Innocenti Minis which in any case were never sold here. The Mini in question is not an Innocenti anyway so not really relevant Were Mk3 Innocenti Coopers 998cc?

Yes they were 998s with more or less the 998 Cooper engine. There were ca. 4800 Innocenti Cooper Mk3 built with the english doors - without quarterlights and ca. 10600 with the Innocenti quarterlight doors. All rated at 60hp SAE!
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s
