Evening,
I am just getting started on a MK1 themed racer mini project. Unfortunately the donor car is far from a MK1, but I will do my best to get it to pass as a MK1 look-a-like-ee.
What I'm after are some images of MK1s racing so I can get a feel for how they looked back in the day. What started this all off is Clive Trickey's 850 racer with it's GP2 arches, white reverse rims, and lack of bumper seams. Unfortunately the images in Trickey's book I have are not in colour - so please post up anything with Mk1's track racing.
Much obliged and all that!

There's something about white steels (4.5" reverse rims??) and a de-bumpered front. It's tempting!

Hi Eddie,
As much as i'd like to get involved in racing, time and money won't allow it. This project will be for the road and weekend use mainly.
Thanks for the posted images/link. That's given me plenty of ideas.
