Help, One is longer than the other...
Stripped my rear suspension down and had it blasted painted etc. Went to reassemble and noticed that one hydro spring is about 2 inches longer than the other
Neither appears to be stretched so my question is are there differing sorts of Hydro springs. (The car is a Mk 1 Cooper S 1966 if that makes any difference)

Hi Rolesboy,
Yes, there are two, early and later. The numbers are covered in the Special Tuning book. Your car should have the spring with the longer spring part and shorter ends. I have a comparison pic somewhere but can't find it. This change was to help with the tail high pose of Hydro cars. It didn't fix it but helped.
