Stupid question.. but I've never done this before!!

Post by Chapmag »

This morning I struggled and struggled and struggled to fit one of the front door cards.
It's in!
Yay!
But the drain pipes are visible!
I'm assuming it's going to have to come out and go back in again covering the drain pipes.
Before I do that can someone please tell me if the door cards should fit in front of rather than behind the drain pipes?
Thanks in anticipation, G.

in FRONT of the drain pipes......., hiding the drain pipes between the card and the door

Check if you have those oversize o/d drain pipes sold by many suppliers .. with a mk 1 there should be a odd shape square bracket that secures the door wedge located at the inner inside rear of inner door frame & Rear Drain Tube runs through this bracket .. then its a fight to get the Tubes stuffed behind the vertical trim cards suggesting a magic wand is the best tool to use.. probably others have the better way to insert those door vertical trim cards?
