I'm busy rebuilding transmissions and have a question?

Post by CooperTune »

For years I have kept a cheat sheet on speedo drive gears for different CWP sets. Seem I have misplaced the info. I'm doing a pre A+ rod change with an A+ 3.44 CWP. the Pup rides on 10 inch wheels. I should have the correct gears just need to know which to look for. Thanks Steve (CTR)

All ours out here with that set up were 6/17. They were ex-UK.

Pre 1984 with 3.44 or 3.7 FD running 10” wheels use 6tooth worm and 17teeth pinion.

Thank you, I was able to go back to the shop and find my notes. I have begun removing CWP and speedo gears and storing together. I have always stored CW and pinion tie wrap together. I may have as many as 17/18 gear boxes. The plan was to rebuild them all. Time involved and cost of parts make me wonder is it's worth it. Steve (CTR)
