Not sure Mark, might be, but my first thought was French with the bull bar on.

Just been posted on Facebook. 70's Falmouth, Cornwall. The old bus station at the top of the Moor. All gone now and an Iceland is there. To left used to a BL dealership, where I saw my first Dolomite Sprint

Re: Just a nice period picture
I’d never seen a photo of him in a Mini, I knew about Lancia/Fiat/Hillman etc but not a Mini so when I saw the pic I thought I’d put it up.

I guess that’s motorsport. My folks went all the way up to Scotland once to see Richard in the Avenger and they didn’t get past the first stage.

Silver gulls, also known as "chip hawks", consuming their natural diet.
Its an Aussie car with the wind-up windows, most likely a 998 Deluxe built between '65 and '69. I don't recognise the location, maybe one of Sydney's eastern suburbs, could even be NZ.

The gap between the wheel and the upper wing arch is that acceptable? With the alignment being correct?

Re: Just a nice period picture
Strange specification isn't it. Mk2 boot badges, "S" wheels and Cooper exhaust but single tank. Mk1 rear lights (and rear 'screen?) but lack of bumper corner bars suggest Mk2
I assume it is a BMC factory shot and the LHD suggests an export spec. of some sort but it's a strange one. Oxford registration.
Just noticed the lack of body seams. It isn't one of those glassfibre Minis is it??
