Hello.
I have received the 1071 back from restorers and slowly sorting small issues.
The wiper motor failed so whilst it is being repaired had a look around and found the wiper rack, if that is the right term
sitting behind the wiring loom that goes from one side of the bulkhead to the other.
On Fri went to one of A Healey club members.
He is currently restoring a very old 850 mini and is about to replace scuttle.
I notice that the metal tabs under the scuttle to hold the witing loom, sit behind the wiper rack.
Am I correct in thinking that on my 1071, the wiring loom should also be behind the rack and held in by the metal clips
attached to the underside of the scuttle.
Thank you for any information you can provide.

Re: Wiring loom of 64 1071 Cooper S
The five loom tabs are welded to the bulkhead on mine, fit the wheelboxes and rack assembly first and then the loom. One of my tabs broke so I ended up with a cable tie to attach the loom connector to the wiper tube.
