Belfast to Singapore in a Mini 1962 (download now available)
In 1962 three Ulstermen travelled overland from Belfast to Singapore in a Mini, it was an epic adventure through countries not usually visited giving us a fascinating insight through unique film taken by the intrepid trio:

Re: Belfast to Singapore in a Mini 1962
Was an excellent wee programme. At a local Mini show here the two surviving lads that did the trip had the Mini with them (I assume now it was a replica as the programme noted that they sold it in S Africa), and I had a bit of a chat with them. It was certainly quite a trip.

If you can find a free proxy service in the UK that is fast enough, you can change your proxy settings ("spoof" your proxy) to trick iplayer into thinking you're in the UK. Finding one that responds quickly enough to stream video is the problem. You could also find a paid proxy service in the Uk, they should be fast enough, but cost you money.
There's also an iphone/ipad app that allows foreigners to view BBC's 'secret' programs.

Thanks Mark. Now I can't get on to the Mk1 website, nor the MCR. I'll keep trying.

I was a bit upset to see the Beeb no longer had it to watch.
But immensly happy to see it downloaded which I watched at my desk at lunchtime.
Thanks very much! Such a shame that today the same mission is not possible due to political reasons etc.
Wonder if the car's still going in Asia?!
